I'm just curious.Īnd, I'm just talking about iOS devices, because I'm much more brave when it comes to a Mac or a Windows machine. I also have lots of apps/games that don't use iCloud syncing, so I like my progress (or settings etc.) to stay with me during any upgrade.ītw, I don't have any problems with restoring, or any problems that I've faced by restoring. How do you guys go ahead with setting an iOS device as new? I've been restoring from backup since my iPhone 4 (I guess, maybe the 3GS as well) because I want everything the way I set it, with all my messages, my settings, my accounts, my apps in place.
